The Role

The Specialist will play a key role in managing and growing our premium gifting efforts and curation of experiences for above-the-line talent working across Netflix titles in the U.S. and Canada. They will partner closely with cross-functional partners to arrange best-in-class gifts for occasions including major award nominations and wins, important life moments (e.g., birthday, baby, wedding, etc.), production milestones, as well as special projects for holidays, Netflix live events, etc.

They will also be responsible for seeking out and partnering with brands to create one-of-a-kind gifts and experiences. This role requires strong project management skills and creative collaboration with internal cross-functional partners, agencies, and external partners for special projects and high-volume gifting moments. They will take on other duties, as assigned, to help support, grow, and scale this department.

  • Proficient in juggling multiple tasks, prioritizing,  and meeting challenging deadlines

  • Adaptable to high-pressure situations, possessing excellent project management abilities to oversee a substantial workload

  • A creative problem solver who is self-sufficient and has great judgment

  • Able to lead and offer guidance to other members of the team

  • Willing to work extended hours during holiday periods as needed

Requirements: 

  • At least 7 years experience in a creative, entertainment, and/or marketing environment (Experience within an entertainment studio is preferred – particularly in roles related to talent relations, public relations, creative marketing, events, and/or in curating gifts for celebrity talent)

  • Provide big-picture thinking and leadership experience 

  • Positive attitude and collaborative team player

  • A great work ethic, desire, and commitment to accept increasingly greater challenges and responsibilities

  • Proficiency in Airtable and Google Suite

  • Strong copywriting skills

  • Experience with industry data tools (i.e. IMDbPro)

  • In-depth knowledge of above-the-line talent and talent agencies

  • Ability to be discreet and maintain confidential information

  • Adobe Photoshop and InDesign Skills a plus, but not a requirement 

Our compensation structure consists solely of an annual salary; we do not have bonuses. You choose each year how much of your compensation you want in salary versus stock options. To determine your personal top of market compensation, we rely on market indicators and consider your specific job family, background, skills, and experience to determine your compensation in the market range. The range for this role is $60,000 - $234,000.

Netflix provides comprehensive benefits including Health Plans, Mental Health support, a 401(k) Retirement Plan with employer match, Stock Option Program, Disability Programs, Health Savings and Flexible Spending Accounts, Family-forming benefits, and Life and Serious Injury Benefits. We also offer paid leave of absence programs.  Full-time hourly employees accrue 35 days annually for paid time off to be used for vacation, holidays, and sick paid time off.
