The Opportunity
“ We are seeking a Lead Engineer to work on development of an analytic decisioning platform. You will be part of a highly energetic team of software engineers to create the next generation software platform for FICO’s feature management capabilities. This role offers a unique opportunity to work with cutting edge technologies applied to one-of-a-kind business problems” - Director, Software Engineering
What You’ll Contribute
- Handle QA activities for feature management capability of FICO decisioning platform.
- Write test scenarios by collaborating with product managers & user experience personnel.
- Develop UI and API automation tests for the identified scenarios.
- Participate in manual QA validation activities of product.
- Evaluate new testing frameworks and raise quality standards continuously.
- Demonstrate technical leadership through KTs, presentations, white papers and event participation.
What We’re Seeking
- Bachelors’ Degree in Computer Science, Applications Systems Design, or other related Data Processing field of study.
- Hands-on development experience with REST API & front-end automation tests.
- Ability to identify and write detailed test cases covering all possible scenarios.
- Proficiency in Java, Junit automation tests, UI automation frameworks like Playwright, Selenium.
- Automation experience of REST & gRPC webservice APIs
- Knowledge of Docker, Kubernetes deployments & CI/CD pipelines.
- A quality-first mindset to proactively adhere to code quality standards and software engineering processes.
- Experience with Agile or Scaled Agile software development.
- Excellent communication and ability to articulate and discuss requirements with teams.
- Experience with cloud technologies such as AWS/GCP/Azure is preferred.
- Ability to provide product demonstrations is an advantage.
- Knowledge of GitHub is advantageous
