Job Description

Google Cloud is seeking a Software Developer III, Full Stack, to design, implement, test, deploy, and maintain software within a full-stack team. The role leverages Google technologies such as Java, Angular/Typescript, Onestack, Boq, Spanner, etc., and involves collaboration with Product Management, UX Design, and business stakeholders. Responsibilities include managing individual and project priorities, meeting deadlines, and effectively communicating across teams. The ideal candidate will possess 2+ years of full-stack development experience, including backend (Java) and frontend (JavaScript/TypeScript) skills, along with experience with data structures and algorithms. Experience with web applications and Google Cloud Platforms is essential. The role offers opportunities for growth and evolution within a fast-paced environment.

Must have:

2+ years full-stack development experience
Java backend experience
JavaScript/TypeScript frontend experience
Data structures and algorithms expertise
Web application experience
Google Cloud Platform familiarity

Good to have:

Master's degree in Computer Science
Experience with accessible technologies

Minimum qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
2 years of experience with software development in one or more programming languages, or 1 year of experience with an advanced degree.
2 years of experience with data structures or algorithms.
2 years of experience with full stack development, across back-end such as Java codebases, and front-end experience including JavaScript or TypeScript or equivalent.
Experience with Web Applications.

Preferred qualifications:

Master's degree or PhD in Computer Science or related technical fields.
Experience developing accessible technologies.

Design, implement, test, deploy, and maintain software in a full-stack team.
Leverage Google technologies such as Java, Angular/Typescript, Onestack, Boq, Spanner, etc.
Partner with Product Managements (PMs), User Experience design (UXDs), and business stakeholders to build experiences for external and internal users.
Manage individual and project priorities, deadlines and deliverables.
Communicate effectively across teams, including business teams.
