Job Description

Develop and optimize embedded applications for automotive infotainment systems. Collaborate with the client to understand their needs and propose innovative solutions. Ensure code quality, maintainability, and adherence to industry standards. Participate in agile development methodologies, including Scrum and Kanban. This role involves working on-site with a client to develop cutting-edge automotive infotainment systems. You will be responsible for designing, developing, and testing critical components of the next-generation IVI system, collaborating closely with a cross-functional team. The position requires strong proficiency in C and C++14 or higher, a deep understanding of embedded systems, and experience with Embedded Linux and automotive standards (UDS, DoIP, CAN, CAN FD, Ethernet).

Must have:

Strong proficiency in C and C++14 or higher
Deep understanding of embedded systems
3-4 years Embedded Linux experience
Automotive standards (UDS, DoIP, CAN, CAN FD, Ethernet)
Excellent problem-solving skills
Agile development methodologies (Scrum, Kanban)
English and Italian communication skills

Good to have:

Experience with QNX
Serialization/deserialization techniques
Publish/subscribe protocols (MQTT, AMQP, ROS)
CI/CD tools (Git, Python, Bash, Docker)
AUTOSAR, ISO 26262, and MISRA standards
HAL and hypervisor technologies

Project description

We are seeking a talented Embedded Systems Engineer to contribute to the development of cutting-edge automotive infotainment systems. You will work on-site with our client, collaborating closely with a cross-functional team to design, develop, and test critical components of the next-generation IVI system.

Collaborate with the client to understand their needs and propose innovative solutions.

Ensure code quality, maintainability, and adherence to industry standards.

Participate in agile development methodologies, including Scrum and Kanban.

Skills

Must have

Strong proficiency in C and C++14 or higher

Deep understanding of embedded systems concepts and principles

3-4 years of experience with Embedded Linux

Experience with automotive standards and protocols (UDS, DoIP, CAN, CAN FD, Ethernet)

Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills

Strong written and verbal communication skills in English and Italian

A hands-on approach to problem-solving, willing to experiment with different solutions

Nice to have

Experience with QNX

Knowledge of serialization/deserialization techniques

Familiarity with publish/subscribe protocols (MQTT, AMQP, ROS)

Experience with CI/CD tools (Git, Python, Bash, Docker)

Knowledge of AUTOSAR, ISO 26262, and MISRA standards

Experience with HAL and hypervisor technologies
