Position Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior UI/UX Designer to lead the design efforts for our premium app and support tools. The ideal candidate will be responsible for enhancing user experience, developing UI designs consistent with Keus's design principles, and ensuring smooth collaboration between design and development teams. The role also involves conducting user research, usability testing, and developing frameworks for key features like notifications, IFTTT, and sensors.

Key Responsibilities:

Premium App UI/UX Design:

Develop and refine user interface and experience flows, ensuring consistency with Keus design standards.

Implement animations, transitions, and interactive flows to enhance user engagement.

Explore and implement alternatives to traditional Material Design to suit the product vision.

Support Tools UI Buildout:

Design UI for internal support tools, addressing operations needs and education screens.

Collaborate with operational teams to ensure design usability for support functions.

Design Developer Handoff Processes:

Create and implement detailed guidelines for conveying design requirements effectively to developers.

Establish smooth handoff processes between design and development teams to maintain design integrity during implementation.

User Research & Review Processes:

Conduct user research to gather insights into user requirements, motivations, and pain points.

Perform usability testing to validate design effectiveness and propose improvements.

User Onboarding:

Design and implement user-friendly onboarding screens to guide users through app features and initial setup.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience in UI/UX design, especially in premium app design.
• Strong understanding of user-centered design principles.
• Proficient in design tools such as Figma, Sketch, or Adobe XD.
• Experience with animations, transitions, and interactive design.
• Familiarity with Material Design and alternatives.
• Strong communication skills and experience working closely with development teams.
• Ability to conduct user research and usability testing.
