Senior Software Engineer, Amazon Music

• 5+ years of non-internship professional software development experience
• 5+ years of programming with at least one software programming language experience
• 5+ years of leading design or architecture (design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems experience
• Experience as a mentor, tech lead or leading an engineering team

The ideal candidate will be instrumental in shaping the product direction and will be actively involved in defining key product features that impact the business. You will work with Principal Engineers at Amazon to evolve the design and architecture of the products owned by this team. You will be responsible to set up and hold a high software quality bar besides providing technical direction to a highly technical team of Software Engineers.

As part of this team you will work to ensure Amazon Music has the best music experience for our customers. It’s a great opportunity to develop and enhance experiences for Music users first. You will work on analyzing the tools needed to drive Amazon Music expansion worldwide using Java, Perl, Javascript, and Node JS or ReactJs. • 5+ years of full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations experience
• Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent
