Riot Engineers bring deep knowledge of specific technical areas but also value the chance to work in many broader domains. As a Senior Software Engineer, you’ll also dive into projects that focus on team cohesiveness and cross-team objectives. You’ll lead without authority and provide other engineers with a clear illustration of extraordinary engineering.
The Accounts team is responsible for building the platform that powers authentication and authorization for millions of Riot players worldwide. We create the technology that handles the highest volume of traffic, ensuring smooth and secure entry points for players' first interactions with our games. As a Senior Software Engineer on the Player Platform’s Accounts team, you will play a critical role in building and managing the "front door" to our games. You’ll develop scalable solutions that process authentication and authorization traffic, safeguarding player data while ensuring a seamless, secure, and enjoyable experience from their very first interaction with our platform. You will report to the Engineering Manager of the Accounts team.
For this role, you'll find success through craft expertise, a collaborative spirit, and choices that focus on your fellow Rioters, who are the customers of your work. Being a dedicated fan of games is not necessary for this position.
