This position will be in our SF Bay Area, LA Metro, or Austin, TX location 

Overview

As an SEO Analyst, you will manage and optimize search engine marketing campaigns across both Google and Bing. You will be responsible for analyzing data, identifying trends and insights, and continuously improving the performance of campaigns to meet goals and objectives.

You will

   Develop optimization strategies that increase the LegalZoom search engine results rankings

   Execute tests, collect and analyze data and results, identify trends and insights in order to achieve search visibility

   Partner hand-in-hand with the SEO team, editorial team, SEM team, Product and PMM to understand priorities and drive growth

   Work with editorial and marketing teams to drive SEO in content creation and content marketing

   Research and implement search engine optimization recommendations - across different content types

    Create and execute internal linking strategy

    Determine measurable goals that demonstrate improvement in marketing efforts

    Closely collaborate with web development team to ensure SEO best practices are properly followed throughout website content

    Perform ongoing keyword research, discovery and optimization for new SEO keywords to use throughout LZ.com and marketing materials

    Deliver keyword research, briefs, copy optimizations and maintain content master pipeline

    Train writers on SEO best practices

 

You have

     Bachelor's degree in marketing, statistics, or a related field.

      4+ years of experience in search engine optimization

     Strong analytical skills and ability to interpret data to make informed decisions and recommendations.

     Excellent communication skills and ability to present data and insights to internal stakeholders.

     Ability to work independently, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

     Experience with Google’s services, including Analytics, Ads and Search Console

     Demonstrated understanding and deployment of EEAT / helpful content update implications

     A functional understanding of HTML and CSS

     The ability to work with back-end SEO elements such as .htaccess, robots.txt, metadata, CWV, and related skills

     Understanding nuances between broad/head-term SEO while also building an effective and long-tail search strategy

     A deep understanding of mobile strategy and how it relates to SEO

     Experience in building inbound organic search traffic and improving SERPs

     A background in creating reports highlighting pertinent SEO data and search performance

     An up-to-date, working knowledge of current, past, and future trends in the SEO industry

 

LegalZoom is a remote-first company and the national range for this role is ($104,600- $135,650). Actual compensation offered will depend on several factors including but not limited to: geographic location, work experience, education, skill level, and/or other business and organizational needs. In addition, an annual bonus, incentive bonus and/or restricted stock units may be provided as part of the compensation package.
