As a Senior Product Manager at Google's E-commerce team, you'll guide products from conception to launch, bridging technical and business aspects. You'll collaborate with engineering, marketing, UX, and legal teams on cutting-edge technologies, breaking down complex problems to drive product development. Responsibilities include understanding markets, user needs, and competition; launching new features and iterating based on performance; and collaborating across teams and regions. You'll develop solutions, prepare technical presentations, and analyze, position, package, promote, and tailor solutions to users. The role requires strong cross-functional skills and experience in e-commerce platforms. The team's mission is to create exceptional online shopping experiences for both consumers and businesses.
Must have:
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent
  • 8+ years in product management
  • 3+ years taking products to launch
  • Cross-functional collaboration
  • Problem-solving & product development
Good to have:
  • Master's or PhD in tech/business
  • 5+ years cross-functional experience
  • 5+ years in business function
  • 4+ years presenting to senior leadership
  • 3+ years in software development
  • E-commerce platform experience

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 8 years of experience in product management or related technical role.
  • 3 years of experience taking technical products from conception to launch.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Master’s degree or PhD in a technology or business related field.
  • 5 years of experience working cross-functionally with engineering, UX/UI, sales finance, and other stakeholders.
  • 5 years of experience in a business function or role (e.g., strategic marketing, business operations, consulting).
  • 4 years of experience in a role preparing and delivering technical presentations to senior leadership.
  • 3 years of experience in software development or engineering.
  • Experience working on eCommerce platforms.

As a Product Manager at Google, you could be working on new technologies, platforms, consumer facing products, and/or enterprise systems. The US base salary range for this full-time position is $168,000-$252,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target salaries for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
