Job Description

As a Senior Product Manager, AI Developer Experience at Google, you'll lead efforts to empower developers to leverage AI for efficient, safe, and scalable code. This involves guiding products from conception to launch, collaborating with engineering, UX/UI, sales, finance, and other teams. Responsibilities include defining product requirements, developing product narratives, gathering user insights, and translating PRDs into OKRs. You'll work to enhance the development of multi-platform, full-stack applications and services augmented by AI, contributing to Google Cloud's mission of enabling digital transformation for organizations worldwide.

Must have:

8+ years in product management or related technical role
3+ years taking products from conception to launch
Experience with developer/enterprise software products
Lead PRDs and collaborate with partner teams
Define product requirements and strategic direction

Good to have:

Master's degree in technology or business
Cross-functional experience with engineering, UX/UI, sales, finance
Software development or engineering experience
People management experience
Experience with AI-based product management

Minimum qualifications:

Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
8 years of experience in product management or related technical role.
3 years of experience taking technical products from conception to launch.
Experience with defining and delivering software products for developers or enterprise customers.

Preferred qualifications:

Master's degree in a technology or business related field.
5 years of experience working cross-functionally with engineering, UX/UI, sales finance, and other stakeholders.
3 years of experience in software development or engineering.
3 years of people management experience with direct reports, and in technical leadership.
Experience leading product management for AI-based products.

Responsibilities

Lead PRDs by collaborating with partner teams (e.g., engineers, program managers, UX) during product design and development to implement the requirements to turn PRDs into OKRs for multiple teams.
Develop an understanding of the problem space to inform a product idea, and define product requirements and the strategic long-term idea.
Drive development and secure buy-in for a product idea that identifies, defines, and supports the overall product narrative and direction.
Understand host organization needs and gather product insights from usage data and by collaborating with user research.
Identify, learn, and define the scope of the product for the host organization and articulate what is in scope for the Fellowship.
