Summary
This Senior Networking Engineer role at Google focuses on the VMware Engine service, enabling seamless migration of on-premises VMware workloads to Google Cloud. The role requires extensive experience with network routing protocols, cloud networking technologies (IS-IS, VXLAN, BGP, EVPN, Network Virtualization, NSX-T), and ideally, Cisco networking technologies and private networking technologies (IPSec, SD-WAN, MPLS).

Minimum qualifications:
Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
6 years of experience with network routing protocols, design and troubleshooting, with network equipment providers.
6 years of experience in one of the following Cloud networking technologies/protocols: IS-IS, VXLAN, BGP, EVPN, Network Virtualization and VMware Engine(NSX-T).
Preferred qualifications:
Certifications in VMware network (VCP-NV/VCIX-NV/VCDX-NV).
Experience in Cisco Networking Technologies (e.g.,Firewall, Switch, Routing) and relevant private networking technology (e.g.,IPSec, SD-WAN, MPLS).

Responsibilities
Manage Google Cloud networking capacity in partnership with Google Cloud networking teams.
Troubleshoot and resolve customer networking issues across the Google Cloud interconnects, customer On-premises networks and Domain Controller (DC) deployments.
Implement new Google Cloud capabilities and changes in partnership with the development teams.
Plan and implement change management while maintaining availability.
Design and implement processes for the operation of networks and VMWare stack.
