RKSV Securities was founded by Ravi Kumar and Shrinivas Viswanath in 2009 and was soon graced by Kavitha Subramanian as the third co-founder in 2016. Backed by Ratan Tata, Upstox had raised $4 million in Series A funding in early 2016 that was led by Kalaari Capital. The Series B funding round scaled multifold and witnessed an investment of $25 million by US-based investment firm - Tiger Global Management in September 2019.

Here is what you need to know about this role:

Job Title: Senior Manager PR (Full-time)

Location: Mumbai

Job Description Summary:

- Develop monthly, quarterly, and annual communication narratives aligned with business objectives and target audience needs.

- Define and execute a roadmap for PR and corporate communication strategies, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements in the finance/stock broking/insurance/MF/loan sectors.

- Clearly articulate the product, brand, and business vision for relevant target groups (TGs) to leverage multi-media platforms effectively.

- Lead media relations efforts across online and traditional media channels, fostering positive relationships and enhancing brand visibility.

- Develop thought leadership initiatives for all three founders, identifying strategic pillars and opportunities for industry influence.

- Design and implement an annual media strategy and execution plan, leveraging data-driven insights and market trends to optimize outreach efforts.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including marketing, legal, compliance, and product development to ensure cohesive communication strategies.

- Provide strategic counsel to senior leadership on communication matters, including crisis management and reputation protection.

You will work in the Growth and Marketing team wherein you will be working at the newly set-up dynamic news desk that powers Upstox news website with latest and important information 24*7. You will also closely work with the Product and the Tech team.

What do you need to bring?

- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Mass Media, or related field; Master's degree preferred.

- 10+ years of experience in strategic communication roles within the finance/fintech industry, with a focus on broking, AMCs, or exchanges.

- In-depth knowledge of regulatory frameworks governing finance, stock broking, insurance, mutual funds, and loans.

- Proven track record in strategic communication planning and execution, with a strong understanding of media relations across online and traditional platforms.

- Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and market trends to inform communication strategies.

- Experience in content creation within the finance domain is a plus.

- Strong interpersonal and leadership skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams and influence stakeholders at all levels.

- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with a keen attention to detail.

- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities simultaneously
