Your Role Accountabilities…
Being a member of Commercial Legal team, advising mainly following teams: IT, technology, sourcing, marketing, including drafting documents, negotiating all phases of transactions, and providing guidance on deal strategy and structure;
Draft corporate documentation and handle legal processes for management boards and supervisory boards of Warner Bros. Discovery & TVN companies
Guide business on regulatory and compliance issues to ensure compliance with legal regulations as well as with Warner Bros. Discovery & TVN policies
Consulting on the management, processes and administration of active agreements, regulatory reporting and other processes
Reviewing and updating standard form agreements, creating and maintaining template agreements for key service areas
Maintain awareness and understanding of the latest developments in the law and technology as they relate to Warner Bros. Discovery & TVN
Provide market intelligence research and support for business initiatives as directed
Qualifications & Experience…
Knowledge and experience in the field of e-commerce, digital IP and distribution in the media industry
Experience in managing teams
Excellent drafting and negotiating skills; pragmatism to balance costs and benefits and handle ambiguity
Ability to research, review and analyze complex laws, rules, regulations and other legal requirements
Ability to provide well-reasoned, business-based legal counsel; courage to identify and address risks and/or deficiencies
Ability to work in a fast-paced, ever-evolving environment and handle high volume of work and multi-task a variety of assignments, as well as recognize priorities and manage time effectively to meet deadlines
Ability to work independently as well in cross functional groups and collaboratively with team members; cross-cultural fluency and/or awareness
Strong analytical, project management, organizational and problem-solving skills
Qualified legal counsellor required with +4 years of experience
Written and oral fluency in Polish and English required
Knowledge of television business or general entertainment industry, media or non-media products distribution models and ‘new media’ developments – nice to have
