Senior Full Stack Engineer

We’re currently seeking a Sr. Fullstack Engineer for an exciting contract opportunity with a Game Industry Innovator. Based in Irvine, California, this is a fully remote, 6-month contract role with a focus on creating immersive and innovative gaming experiences.

As a Sr. Fullstack Engineer, you’ll be an integral part of the Design and Development team, working on the implementation of new features for payment processing in a cross-platform ecommerce system. You will collaborate with various development teams to ensure seamless integrations with third-party payment providers and optimize performance across multiple tiers.

Responsibilities:

• Design and implement new features for payment processing on a cross-platform ecommerce system, including integration with third-party payment providers.
• Collaborate with development teams to ensure the proper design and integration of new features.
• Own and maintain infrastructure while monitoring, optimizing, and troubleshooting performance across all tiers.
• Stay up to date with emerging technologies and best practices to continually evolve the technology stack.

Requirements:

• Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in front-end and back-end software engineering.
• Strong proficiency in Java and experience building Spring-based web applications.
• Experience with front-end technologies such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
• Hands-on experience with a Single Page Application (SPA) framework, such as React, Angular, or Vue.
• Solid understanding of computer science fundamentals, including algorithms, data structures, and design patterns.
• Experience with web services, microservices, security, messaging middleware, and n-tier architectures.
• Knowledge of scalable, highly concurrent server architecture design.
• Familiarity with testing practices including regression, acceptance, functional, and load testing.
• Experience with data modeling and RDBMS development practices.

Pluses:

• Experience with billing and payment systems.
• Experience with tools such as Maven, Jenkins, Terraform, Docker, and Kubernetes.
• AWS experience (EC2, ELB, DynamoDB, S3, SQS).
• JavaScript development experience and familiarity with modern web technologies.
• Experience creating multi-language applications for global audiences.
