About the role:   

The Financial Consolidation Systems & Reporting Analyst has a broad scope role and playing a key part in delivering Amber Group's financial reporting in a timely & accurately manner. The role manages and utilizes the systems that support the group’s monthly, quarterly and annual Management & External Financial Reporting, including support for reporting processes for Asia, Finance Business partnering + M&A and Budgeting.

The Quest:  

Month end closing process

  • Driving and monitoring the monthly close timetable, assisting reporting units with accurate & timely month end reporting
  • Prepare the consolidation of Income Statement / Balance Sheet/ Cash Flow reports
  • Preparation of reporting of Business units
  • Analytical review of Group Reporting and intercompany reconciliation
  • Partnering with other Finance functions - Tax/Treasury/Statutory/External Reporting/ Controllership for ad hoc projects focusing on process improvements for reporting of Actuals and Forecasting

Systems support

  • Responsible for monitoring of local accounting mapping vs global accounting matrix & maintaining mappings
  • Training support for central finance systems
  • Continuous improvement of accounting and reporting processes including adoption of automation
  • Liaising with external consultants on application development and with IT on software and application upgrades, including development, design, testing, and documentation
