WHAT WILL YOU DO?
You will use your creativity, passion and knowledge of experience design, branding, and modern UI/UX practices to develop leading edge experiences for highly engaged Football Club fans. You will work closely with the experience design team, game design and our partners to create experiences that surprise, delight and inspire millions of players around the world to play.
YOUR ROLE:
- Take ownership of design features autonomously to deliver all phases of production from concept to completion. (e.g. layouts, information organization, typography, color theory).
- Leverage and evolve an established FC Design System and Visual Identity when crafting visual and interactive solutions.
- Find opportunities to improve implementation standards, innovation of experiences and collaborative workflows.
- Develop and maintain collaborative partnerships across disciplines such as Game Design, production and engineering to help further develop the game experience and visual language.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to articulate, rationalize, and empathize with user needs effectively.
- Be a mentor and foster a culture of growth and education within the XD team while being a champion for UX UI within the organization.
WHAT WERE LOOKING FOR:
- 5+ years of experience as a UI designer, interaction designer, product designer or similar role.
- Proficient in Figma, Adobe Suite, and prototyping software.
- Strong portfolio demonstrating user-centric, data-driven, visually appealing, and functional designs.
- Attention to detail and ability to create solutions in 2D.
- Skilled in creating complex prototypes for player experience.
- Proactive, outcome-oriented, and solution-driven.
- Empathetic and collaborative team player.
- Passion for playing games.
NICE TO HAVE
- Experience with working and implementing designs into game engines like Unreal or proprietary engines.
- Illustrative design skills such as iconography.
- Experience with game design.
- Knowledge of Football.

BC COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS
The base salary ranges listed below are for the defined geographic market pay zones in these locations. If you reside outside of these locations, a recruiter will advise on the base salary range and benefits for your specific location.
EA has listed the base salary ranges it in good faith expects to pay applicants for this role in the locations listed, as of the time of this posting. Salary offered will be determined based on numerous relevant business and candidate factors including, for example, education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, geographic location, and business or organizational needs.
BASE SALARY RANGES
• British Columbia (depending on location e.g. Vancouver vs. Victoria):
º $115,100 - $161,200 CAN Annually
Base salary is just one part of the overall compensation at EA. We also offer a package of benefits including vacation (3 weeks per year to start), 10 days per year of sick time, paid top-up to EI/QPIP benefits up to 100% of base salary when you welcome a new child (12 weeks for maternity, and 4 weeks for parental/adoption leave), extended health/dental/vision coverage, life insurance, disability insurance, retirement plan to regular full-time employees. Certain roles may also be eligible for bonus and equity.
