We are looking for a Senior Executive, Global Payroll Accounting to join our growing Global Payroll team. You will be responsible for preparation of payroll-related journal entries, calculation of payroll accruals, account reconciliations, and assisting the Accounting Manager and Deputy Manager with variance analysis and reporting. Reporting to the Deputy Manager, you will:

  • Prepare payroll journal entries for multiple countries and payroll-related accruals including vacation, severance, pension and benefits.
  • Help with monthly, quarterly, year-end close activities, analytical review of P&L activities and balance sheet fluctuation analysis for payroll accounts. Help prepare company-prepared payroll workpapers/PBCs for quarterly reviews and the annual audit.
  • Review payroll accounting-related reports for Dayforce implementation.
  • Collaborate with several teams to address new Zscaler plans and to improve processes and participate in the ongoing Finance Transformation and automation projects undertaken by the accounting and payroll teams.
  • Maintain documentation of payroll accounting processes.

What We're Looking for (Minimum Qualifications)

  • Qualified Chartered Accountant with at least 2 to 3 years of experience, exposure to publicly traded (Nasdaq) and SaaS companies.
  • Experience with Excel functions such as pivot tables, vlookups, if/then statements and ability to work with complex spreadsheets containing large data sets.

What Will Make You Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications)

  • Work with teams remotely across the globe.
  • Exposure to NetSuite, Ceridian Dayforce, FloQast and/or Workday.
