Job Description

As an Employee Engagement Communications Intern at Zscaler's People & Culture team, you'll report to the VP of Global Employee Engagement. Your responsibilities include crafting engaging content showcasing Zscaler's culture and employer brand across digital platforms. You'll research emerging social platforms and AI tools to enhance reach and effectiveness, developing strategies to optimize content engagement based on audience insights. You will assist in identifying new technologies and innovative methods for personalized employee engagement communications, leveraging your knowledge of AI to enhance engagement through personalized recognition and storytelling. This internship requires strong storytelling and creative writing skills, familiarity with social media, and a curiosity about AI's potential in content creation.

We’re seeking an Employee Engagement Intern to join our People & Culture team. Reporting to the VP of Global Employee Engagement, you’ll craft content that showcases our culture and employer brand, leveraging new technologies to reach wider audiences.

You will be responsible for:

  • Leveraging EVP content across digital platforms
  • Researching emerging social platforms and AI tools to enhance storytelling reach and effectiveness
  • Developing strategies to optimize content engagement based on audience insights
  • Assisting the team in identifying new technologies and innovative methods to personalize employee engagement communications
  • Bringing curiosity and knowledge about AI to explore creative ways to enhance engagement through personalized recognition, communication tools, and storytelling approaches

What We’re Looking for (Minimum Qualifications)

  • Rising Sophomore or Junior bachelor’s level student actively pursuing a degree in Creative Writing, Journalism, English, or a related field
  • Strong storytelling and creative writing skills with the ability to adapt content for different platforms and audiences
  • Familiarity with or curiosity about AI tools and their potential impact on content creation and engagement
  • Experience with social media platforms and a keen understanding of how to use them effectively for storytelling

What Will Make You Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications)

  • Experience in crafting engaging content across multiple platforms, including blogs, LinkedIn, TikTok and X/Twitter
  • An understanding of employer branding and its impact on company culture

Zscaler’s salary ranges are benchmarked and are determined by role and level. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the position across all US locations and could be higher or lower based on a multitude of factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.

The base salary range listed for this full-time position excludes commission/ bonus/ equity (if applicable) + benefits.

Base Pay Range
$25$50 USD
