Your New Role…

The Senior Director, Studio FP&A COE – EMEA & APAC will be responsible for providing timely and accurate forecasting, reporting and analysis for Warner Bros. Discovery Studios, working with COE and business partner leadership to determine resourcing needs and organization structure.

This role is a leadership position based in Warsaw, Poland and will lead an EMEA & APAC based team.

Your Role Accountabilities…

  • Work with COE leadership to execute transition plans

  • Ensure the ongoing development of team members including professional and people skills, knowledge of the business, and team engagement

  • Partner with stakeholders for the execution of key initiatives including:

    • Global process alignment

    • Continuous improvement

    • Implementation of planning and reporting best practices

    • Other strategic business initiatives

  • Ensure accurate and timely delivery of planning responsibilities. Including, but not limited to, forecast preparation and submission, budget preparation and long range planning support, for both expense and cash forecasts

  • Ensure accurate and timely delivery of reporting and analysis responsibilities. Including, but not limited to: Actuals versus forecast variance reporting, financial impact of potential strategy/programming decisions, other ad hoc analysis

Qualifications & Experience…

  • Minimum 10+ years related professional experience, with at least 8 years of experience in management positions.

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field, Master’s degree in a related field a plus

  • English language proficiency (Bilingual level).

  • Advanced knowledge of, and experience with, financial planning, analysis and reporting concepts, and EPM tools and processes. Process oriented with a solid understanding of accounting principles, and internal control concepts. Experience in project management and process improvement.

  • Experience managing large teams. Experience in media & sports industry will be a plus.

  • Proven ability to develop and maintain strong relationships across the organization. Strong problem resolution skills, and a high degree of integrity, tact and diplomacy.

  • Effective communicator at all levels of the organization with the ability to influence others and negotiate outcomes.

  • Strong written, oral and presentation skills required.
