A strong understanding of cybersecurity is a plus.

We're looking for an experienced Senior Director of Industry Analyst Relations to join our Zscaler team. This is a remote role. Reporting to our Vice President of Global Communications you’ll be the industry analyst relations lead with a director of AR reporting into you to help build and expand our analyst relations program, as well as define our overall AR strategy and direction, owning relationships with a mix of tier one and tier two and three industry analysts, and managing AR programs including analyst engagements such as inquiries, briefings and strategy sessions, participation in research firm evaluations, and ongoing company communications with our industry analyst audience.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead the industry analyst relations team, create and define programs needed to accelerate Zscaler’s position in the market, and guide internal stakeholders to further improve engagements with analysts. 
  • Conduct ongoing review/research to ensure key analyst contacts remain up-to-date and continue to expand these contacts as Zscaler’s portfolio and coverage areas expand.
  • Manage and drive analyst engagement strategy including inquiries, briefings, strategy sessions, own/orchestrate participation in research and ongoing communications, in particular to help expand our reach to additional firms and analysts in the U.S., and include a select few outside the U.S. This includes scheduling, facilitating, and working with our internal SMEs to ensure the best possible outcomes for every engagement.
  • Independently guide and counsel internal stakeholders on their engagements with the analyst community and lead and manage industry research firm evaluations to ensure Zscaler’s leadership position in these evaluations.
  • Manage recurring analyst programs, such as the quarterly newsletter including content creation, and work with internal teams on design and distribution.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • 10+ years of experience in managing analyst relations functions and teams for technology companies. A proven track record of successfully managing AR programs.
  • Expert understanding of tier one and two industry research firms and industry influencers.
  • Ability to create compelling, analyst-focused materials and content, as well as the ability to provide strategic input and help guide internal stakeholders in their communications with the analyst community 
  • Ability to juggle multiple deliverables at a fast pace while delivering results for positive positioning and favorable ratings, ranking with analysts and influencers

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Strong understanding of cybersecurity and networking concepts, trends, and industry dynamics is a plus

Zscaler’s salary ranges are benchmarked and are determined by role and level. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the position across all US locations and could be higher or lower based on a multitude of factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.

The base salary range listed for this full-time position excludes commission/ bonus/ equity (if applicable) + benefits.

Base Pay Range
$196,000$280,000 USD
