The Partnership and Acquisition Analytics team collaborates closely with DraftKings' Executive Leadership Team, Corporate Development, and Business Development to evaluate deals, with a strong emphasis on analyzing Mergers and Acquisitions (M&A) and market access partnerships. This team is responsible for providing analytical support on potential deals and evaluating the efficacy of past deals. We are seeking a Senior Analyst to join our expanding Partnership and Acquisition Analytics team to support the quantitative analysis, business case process, and execution of M&A and Market Access opportunities. In this role, you will forecast the economic impact of capital allocation decisions and prepare valuation analyses using primary DK information and market data from various sources to support recommendations to our Executive Leadership Team.
What you'll do as a Senior Analyst, Partnership and Acquisition Finance
Support all aspects of the M&A analytics process, including market, financial, valuation, and synergy analysis to inform business case development, deal execution, and integration planning
Provide quantitative analysis to support business development efforts across a number of disciplines including market access partnerships and data supplier partnerships
Perform a variety of ad-hoc quantitative analysis to support deal structuring, capital allocation, and capital structure business cases
Interact closely with Vertical Analytics teams and Platform Analytics teams to understand business performance and KPIs to inform quantitative analysis
Support the planning process for strategic projects and business initiatives (e.g., financial analysis of new products, new platforms, new verticals, and other potential growth opportunities).
This role works in very close collaboration with Corporate Development, Business Development, Investor Relations, Analytics, and Operations
What you’ll bring
2+ years of experience in relevant roles, such as Investment Banking, Corporate Development, Management Consulting, Private Equity, or Venture Capital.
Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Economics, Finance, Analytics, Accounting, or similar discipline preferred.
Proficiency in Excel modeling (including forecast development and valuations) and PowerPoint.
Excellent verbal/written communication and presentation skills.
Ability to apply valuation techniques and concepts.
Ability to work effectively across functional teams and levels of seniority to refine strategic recommendations and build consensus.
Ability to prioritize and manage multiple complex projects simultaneously and work unsupervised in the absence of clear guidelines
Prior experience or knowledge of the sports, media, entertainment, gaming, or technology, sectors is a plus.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is 110,000.00 USD - 122,500.00 USD, plus bonus, equity, and benefits as applicable. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location.
