Must have:

  • Strong aesthetic sense and attention to detail

Job Description

  • Evaluate the feasibility of toy production based on reference images or concept drawings provided by the design team and communicate with the design team. 
  • Create 3D model of toy exterior and interior structure based on product functionality and aesthetic requirements. 
  • Communicate with US/HK design and development teams to improve 3D models to meet PI safety/molding/production requirements.  
  • Use Geomagic to convert an STL file into a Creo surface. 
  • Schedule and follow up on physical models. 
  • Communicate with global digital modeling team to support 3D modeling for toy development.

Qualifications

  • College in toy/product design or sculpture major. 
  • 6+ years experience in toy,games, animation and other related industries.  (Experience in 3D modeling of figures and vehicles is preferred.) 
  • Proficiency in modeling using Freeform. 
  • Proficiency in 2D software (Illustrator, PhotoShop, AutoCad, Adobe Suite). 
  • Capable of independently creating 3D models of Vehicle products' exteriors and interiors.
  • Have a certain level of competence in hand-drawing. 
  • Familiar with the toy production process and process related knowledge is preferred. 
  • Familiar with the process of mold manufacturing and related requirements. 
  • Strong sense of aesthetics, detail-oriented, proactive, and open to growth. 
  • Good English writing and reading abilities.
