Responsible Gaming Analyst needed for a tech startup in São Paulo, Brazil. Minimum 6 months experience required in compliance, risk analysis, responsible gaming, or related fields. Experience in LATAM iGaming markets (Colombia, Mexico, Peru) is advantageous. Must have strong communication and collaboration skills and experience handling sensitive information.

A Responsible Gaming Analyst plays an integral role in ensuring that licensees carry out their responsible gambling policy, fulfilling the operator duty of care obligations towards our customers. This role requires an innovative mind to assist by conducting behavioral risk reviews, educating customers on their gameplay using responsible gambling tools whilst proactively mitigating the risk of gambling harms.

Role and Responsibilities
Your role will encompass a wide range of responsibilities, including but not limited to:

  • Behavioral Analysis: Conducting risk reviews identifying problem gambling markers of harm
  • Communication: Conducting high risk telephonic calls to customers experiencing effects of gambling harms
  • Ad hoc: Escalations and queries pertaining to responsible gambling from relevant stakeholders
  • Stakeholder collaboration: Work together with AML & Account Management teams ensuring due diligence is carried out
  • Operational: Operating in a shift working environment that provides operational coverage 24/7
  • Translations: Conducting responsible gambling translations on an ad hoc basis

Work experience and skills

  • Minimum 6 months experience in a compliance, risk analyst, responsible gaming or related role
  • Experience working in LATAM markets within iGaming is advantageous (Colombia, Mexico, Peru etc.)
  • Ability to read and write in both English and Portuguese
  • Experience in dealing with customers on all communication mediums (call, email, sms)
  • Experience dealing with vulnerable individuals
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work cross-functionally with other teams and departments
  • Experience of handling sensitive, confidential customer information
  • Proven track record in delivering high quality in a fast-paced, challenging environment
  • Bachelor's degree in Psychology, or a related field advantageous
