Summary

The Responsible AI Testing Data Analyst will leverage Google's big data to conduct analysis, architect metrics, solve problems, and influence business decisions. Responsibilities include building scalable SQL scripts for data automation, bridging technical and non-technical teams, establishing standardized data analysis processes, and identifying/solving problems independently and collaboratively. This role requires strong data analysis skills, SQL proficiency, and experience working within Trust & Safety or a related field. The analyst will play a crucial role in ensuring the safety and integrity of Google products by identifying and mitigating risks associated with AI.

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 7 years of experience in data analytics, data science, or trust and safety.
  • Experience with SQL.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Master's degree or PhD.
  • Experience in SQL, building dashboards, data collection/transformation, visualization/dashboards, or experience in a scripting/programming language (e.g. Python).
  • Experience working with engineering and product teams to create tools, solutions, or automation to improve user safety.
  • Experience with modeling, experimentation, and causal inference.
  • Experience in Trust and Safety, Intel, or Policy.
  • Experience in responsible AI.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $129,000-$191,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target salaries for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Responsibilities

  • Use Google’s big data to conduct data-oriented analysis, architect metrics, synthesize information, solve problems, and influence business decision-making by presenting insights and market trends.
  • Leverage SQL to build robust and scalable scripts and workflows that automate data collection, enrichment, and delivery, maximizing the team's impact. 
  • Serve as a bridge between technical and non-technical teams, effectively translating complex Trust and Safety Intelligence needs into clear, actionable requirements for data solutions. 
  • Establish standardized processes and methodologies for data analysis that can be applied across diverse topics, ensuring consistency and efficiency in generating valuable insights. 
  • Work autonomously to identify and solve problems and collaborate effectively within a team to develop comprehensive solutions.
