Job Description

As a Recruitment Manager at Tesla, you'll lead the Central region SSD Recruitment team (Germany, Austria, Switzerland, Poland, Czech Republic, Hungary, and Romania), focusing on Sales, Service, and Delivery teams. Responsibilities include leading and developing a team of recruiters, partnering with business leaders to assess recruitment needs, driving efficiencies and improving recruitment metrics (time-to-hire, candidate experience), creating and implementing recruitment strategies, optimizing interview processes, owning team performance and continuous improvement, managing stakeholder relationships, reporting on KPIs, and contributing to the EMEA Recruitment strategy. You'll need strong analytical skills, experience in high-volume hiring, and the ability to manage and mentor a team in a fast-paced environment. Proficiency in English and German is required.

Your business acumen, recruiting experience/knowledge and a genuine commitment for optimising processes are core skills needed at Tesla. Strong analytical skills round off your profile, and you use data to create and influence strategies to find and hire the talent responsible for accelerating the world's transition to sustainable energy. 

This role will lead the Central region SSD Recruitment team, focused on hiring for our Sales, Service and Delivery teams in Germany, Austria, Switzerland, Poland, Czech Republic, Hungary and Romania. Essentially, you will be hiring the teams that have direct contact with, and the greatest impact on our customer’s experience.

What You’ll Do
  • Leading, developing and coaching a team of high performing Recruiters, to nurture a structured and inclusive culture within both your own team and across our wider EMEA Talent Acquisition team  

  • Partnering with business leaders and hiring managers to assess their recruitment needs against their growth plans, identifying opportunities to accelerate hiring pace and challenges in our operation, by proactively looking around corners and problem solving ahead of time 

  • Driving efficiencies in recruiter hiring output and improving other recruitment-related metrics, such as time-to-hire and candidate experience  

  • Creating and implementing recruitment strategies with clear goals and measurement points  

  • Optimize interview and hiring processes in your region  

  • Owning every aspect of your team’s performance, and being responsible for driving continuous improvements to facilitate exceptional team output and delivery to our stakeholders  

  • Own stakeholder relationships with senior leads in the Central markets, influencing through clear communication and insights generated through analysis of recruitment data 

  • Regularly reporting on KPIs whilst improving processes based on data insights and feedback received  

  • Being an essential part of our EMEA Recruitment leadership team and impacting our overarching strategy as an EMEA Recruitment team 

  • Working cross-functionally with various stakeholders in the business and People team in your region and EMEA 

What You’ll Bring
  • Experienced as a people manager in an internal Talent Acquisition team in an agile, fast-paced environment where things change very quickly  

  • Have strong analytical skills and understanding of recruitment KPIs, data/reporting, and able to act as a role model in process compliance and data-integrity  

  • Experience of, and ability to create candidate attraction/sourcing strategies in a high-volume-hiring business 

  • Experience managing recruiter performance, coaching and mentoring them on recruitment and career development topics 

  • Clear and structured communicator 

  • Able to communicate in a business context in both English and German 

  • Have experience in volume hiring roles, preferably in Manufacturing or Operations
