Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement quality control processes and procedures
  • Perform quality inspections and audits to identify areas for improvement
  • Analyze and report on product quality metrics and trends
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address quality issues and implement corrective actions
  • Participate in product testing and validation activities
  • Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations
  • Contribute to the development and maintenance of quality assurance documentation
  • Provide training and support to team members on quality-related topics

Requirements

Requirements:

  • BS/BA in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent work experience
  • Strong knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes
  • Experience in writing clear, concise, and comprehensive test plans and test cases
  • Proficiency in at least one programming or scripting language, such as Java, Python, or JavaScript
  • Ability to identify, analyze, and resolve defects, ambiguous or conflicting requirements, and inconsistencies in functionality
  • Exceptional attention to detail to ensure the software is bug-free and meets the required specifications
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills to effectively collaborate with team members and report on findings
  • Ability to work closely with developers, product managers, and other QA engineers to deliver high-quality products in a timely and cost-effective manner
  • Familiarity with agile frameworks and regression testing, able to thrive in a fast-paced environment
  • Experience with automated testing tools such as Selenium, JUnit, or TestNG
  • Openness to working in an agile environment and actively cooperating with the team
  • A strong advocate for and adherence to high-quality standards
