Job Description

Spocket seeks a highly skilled QA Engineer to ensure the quality and reliability of its software products. Responsibilities include creating comprehensive test plans and test cases, using automated test scripts (Cypress, Selenium), identifying and reporting defects, collaborating with developers, maintaining testing documentation, and regularly updating automated test scripts. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in a related field and at least 3 years of QA experience, strong knowledge of software testing methodologies, proficiency in manual and automated testing, and excellent analytical and communication skills. Familiarity with e-commerce platforms and web development technologies (Typescript-React, Python-Django, Ruby-on-Rails) is a plus.

Must have:

3+ years QA experience

Manual & automated testing
Test automation frameworks (Cypress, Selenium)
Defect identification & reporting
Excellent communication skills

Good to have:

E-commerce platform knowledge

We are searching for a highly skilled and experienced QA Engineer to become a valuable team member. As a QA Engineer at Spocket, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our software products.

You’re Excited About The Role Because You Will

Create comprehensive test plans and test cases to ensure complete coverage of software functionality.

Use automated test scripts to efficiently identify defects, regressions, and performance issues.

Identify, document, and report defects and work closely with developers to resolve issues.

Work with cross-functional teams to address quality concerns and provide input on product improvements.

Maintain detailed records of testing activities and ensure testing documentation is up to date.

Write and maintain code for test automation scripts using appropriate testing frameworks and programming languages.

Regularly update and enhance automated test scripts to keep pace with software changes and ensure script reliability.

Document test results, defects, and automation progress. Communicate findings to the QA team and developers.

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).

Minimum 3 years experience as a QA Engineer in a software development environment.

Strong knowledge of software testing methodologies, tools, and best practices.

Proficiency in manual and automated testing techniques.

Experience with test automation frameworks and scripting languages. (Cypress, Selenium, etc)

Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

Strong communication and teamwork skills.

Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality software.

Familiarity with e-commerce platforms and industry trends is a plus.

Knowledge of web development and technologies is a plus. (Typescript - React, Python - Django, Ruby - Ruby On Rails)
