Job Responsibilities
- Perform efficiently and effectively on all tasks allocated by the Production team and offer administrative assistance for VFX bids and pitches, etc.
- Update budgets and VFX shot databases and look after existing show correspondence
- Assist with general production tasks and conduct phone calls
- Research stock footage, movie reference, and other Participate in daily review sessions for data entry, taking notes and minutes to distribute to the team and action items as needed
- Participate in daily production scrums to take notes
- Stock supplies, materials and general office maintenance duties
- Provide Assistance with client services, meal and coffee runs and other assistant tasks as required
Qualifications and Essential Skills
- Bachelor's degree in film studies, film and TV production, Media Studies or a related field
- A basic understanding of both feature film and television and VFX production pipelines is desirable however, not required
- Being proactive: use your initiative to find jobs to do and show resourcefulness, make a good effort in all of the tasks that you do
- Exceptional Communication skills; both verbal and written
- Be confident, approachable and communicate well with all team members and clients
- A willingness to learn and show initiative for overall studio efficiencies
- Ability to multitask, prioritize, and problem-solve in a high-pressure, fast-paced environment, adapting to changing project schedules and sometimes working late or irregular hours
- Strong Knowledge of MS Office (Excel, Powerpoint, Word), Google Suite and Gmail
- Highly detail orientated and must be able to work within a team environment
