About the Partner Scale Team: At Scale Team, we build tools and platforms for our engineering Product Managers and Community leads to support their community engagements and community management life cycle at scale. We provide scalability through continuous improvement of our platforms, tooling, and operations. This position provides end to end operational support to our private Partner community side. This role is dedicated to Microsoft’s Security Elite Partner community engaging directly with partners to deliver high quality technical enablement to meet customer needs.  

 

About the role: As a Product Manager, you will support the Security Elite Partner Community Lead by overseeing the development and continuous improvement of tools and platforms that enhance community engagement and management. Your role involves coordinating with the Community Lead to ensure seamless, scalable solutions and high-quality support for the Security Elite Partner Program.

Qualifications

Required Qualifications: 

  • Bachelor’s Degree.
    • OR equivalent experience. 

Preferred Qualifications: 

  • Ability to understand data flow and system architecture. 
  • Good data analytics and reporting knowledge.  
  • Prior knowledge and or experience of the Security Products of Microsoft ideal but not required.
  • Prior knowledge managing or experience with enterprise collaboration and productivity platforms ideal but not required. 

Product Management IC2 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $81,900 - $160,200 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $105,600 - $174,600 per year.

Responsibilities

Platform Management:  

  • Manage solutions on SharePoint, Teams, CRM and ADO platforms.
  • Ensure platform quality, integrity, and security across all initiatives.
  • Collaborate with team members and stakeholders to understand platform needs and deliver solutions to enhance the partner experience.  

Product Management Support:  

  • Assist in defining program vision, strategy, and roadmaps for SharePoint, Teams, and ADO platforms. 
  • Integrates feature roadmaps with broader objectives, prioritizes backlogs, adapts to new inputs, and aligns roadmaps with the Community Lead.  
  • Perform market research and competitive analysis to support product development.  

Process Improvement:  

  • Establish and refine processes for managing SharePoint, Teams, CRM and ADO projects. 
  • Implement best practices for development, deployment, and maintenance of solutions. 
  • Continuously evaluate and improve processes to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.  

Innovation and Continuous Improvement:  

  • Stay informed about the latest technologies and trends in SharePoint, Teams, CRM, and ADO to drive innovation and continuous improvement. 
  • Foster a culture of learning and adaptation within the team and community.  

Project Coordination:  

  • Support project timelines. 
  • Assist in coordinating cross-functional teams to deliver projects on time and within scope. 
  • Identify and help mitigate risks and issues throughout the project lifecycle.  

 

Stakeholder Engagement:  

  • Serve as a point of contact for our Partner teams relating to the operational support of the Partner program.
  • Communicate project status, updates, and milestones to senior management and other stakeholders. 
  • Gather and incorporate feedback from users to continuously improve products and services.
