Summary

As a Power Delivery Research Intern at Intel Labs, you'll contribute to research and design of on-die power conversion, distribution, and voltage regulation circuits. Responsibilities include circuit design, modeling, simulation, performance evaluation, and validating assumptions for power conversion circuit efficiency. You'll work within the Power Delivery research team, utilizing your expertise in power conversion circuits/topology design, mixed signal circuit design, and power delivery control modeling and analysis.
Must have:
  • PhD in Electrical Engineering

Job Description

Join Intel Labs' Power Delivery research team as an intern. You'll focus on researching and designing circuits for on-die power conversion, power distribution, and voltage regulation. Your work will involve circuit design, modeling, simulations, and performance evaluation.

In this role, your responsibilities will include:  

  • Research and design circuits for on-die power conversion, power distribution, and voltage regulation.

  • Perform circuit design, modeling, simulations, and analysis.

  • Validate assumptions and evaluate the performance and efficiency of power conversion circuits.

  • Good analytical skills, problem solving skills as well, independent work ethic and intuitive thinking

Qualifications

You must possess the below minimum education requirements and minimum required qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Relevant experience can be obtained through schoolwork, classes, project work, internships, and/or military experience. Additional preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates.

Minimum Qualifications:  

  • You must be a student currently pursuing Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering 

  • 4+ years of work or educational experience with experience in power conversion circuits/topology design and analysis, mixed signal circuit design and analysis, power delivery control modeling and analyses. 

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Coursework and theoretical background in Power Electronics

  • Course Work and knowledge of Power converters and DC-DC regulators
