We’re seeking a future team member for the role of Senior Associate, Performance & Availability Engineering to join our team. This role is in Chennai, TN – HYBRID.

In this role, you’ll make an impact in the following ways:

5 To 8 Years Of Related Experience Is Required.

You have broad knowledge of performance engineering best practices on various domains including applications, databases, message queues, networks, etc., and monitoring strategies including synthetic, real user, network connections, systems, and Java code.

You are strong in debugging, troubleshooting, and analyzing complex distributed application.

JMeter is your performance testing tool of choice, and you are an expert.

You can create and maintain robust and dynamic performance testing scripts based on sophisticated business workflows and scenarios.

You are not a developer, but you enjoy developing functions in Java and/or Groovy

You have strong knowledge of application performance management and monitoring best practices and tools such as AppDynamics, SPLUNK, Dynatrace, and Prometheus.

You are very comfortable providing input to project plans and recommending process improvements.

You have experience monitoring progress of projects and providing regular status reports to management team.

You want to evaluate, recommend, and implement automated test tools and strategies.

You have experience integrating performance testing within a deployment pipeline to continuously assess applications’ performance, scalability, and reliability (Continuous Integration).

You worked within onsite/offshore resources model.

Installing, managing, maintaining, and running complex performance products as part of an end-to-end visibility strategy in various domains are activities you have experienced handling.

To be successful in this role, we’re seeking the following:

Champions for and drives performance non-functional requirements and SLAs.

Allocates and coordinates work across the Performance Engineering team’s portfolio.

Communicates performance engineering approaches, results, issues, and risks to management at regular intervals and/or a need basis.

Creates comprehensive performance test plans from Stakeholder’s requirements.

Collects user and system workload information required for developing workload models.

Validates and ensures performance testing scripts are robust and maintainable.

Participates, coordinates, and leads peer review sessions.

Detects and investigates performance, scalability, and reliability issues using experience, tools, and data analysis. Works with various technology teams to remediate.

Creates comprehensive and actionable performance testing reports.

Partners with IT and Non-IT teams.

Participates in SCRUM meetings and other project meetings.

Plays a key role in mentoring, training, and bridging the specific skill gaps across the Performance Engineering domain.
