ABOUT THIS POSITION

Join our team at Digital Extremes as a People and Culture Coordinator in our London, Ontario office and be the driving force behind creating an engaging, connected, and vibrant workplace culture!

RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Employee Engagement and Well-Being: Act as the on-site champion for employee engagement, fostering strong connections across teams and departments. Develop wellness programs, mentorship initiatives, and recognition efforts. Collect and report quarterly employee feedback to leadership.
  • Remote Employee Support: Design and implement strategies to engage remote employees and ensure alignment with company culture.
  • Event Management: Plan and execute internal events, including game jams, team-building activities, casual gatherings, and major annual events such as the summer BBQ and holiday parties. Collaborate with an employee events committee to shape company events. Community Impact: Organize fundraising initiatives to support local charities, promoting corporate responsibility and community involvement.
  • Travel Coordination: Manage all aspects of travel arrangements, including booking, budgeting, expense tracking, and documentation for staff.
  • Swag and Recognition: Order and oversee company-branded merchandise to celebrate milestones, achievements, and years of service.
  • Manage internal tours, assist external guests etc.
  • Be part of the onboarding experience.
REQUIREMENTS
  • 3+ years experience in an employee engagement, event coordination, or a related role.
  • Exceptional organizational and multitasking skills with a detail-oriented mindset.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication abilities, fostering connections at all levels.
  • Creativity and enthusiasm for planning memorable events and initiatives.
  • Ability to develop and implement strategies to engage both on-site and remote employees.
  • Proficiency in managing budgets, tracking expenses, and coordinating travel arrangements.
  • Passion for promoting wellness, inclusivity, and a positive workplace culture.
  • Familiarity with ordering and managing branded merchandise is a plus.
  • A proactive, collaborative attitude and a drive to make an impact.
  • Experience in the gaming industry is a plus.
