Project description

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Senior Business Analyst to play a key role in bridging the gap between business needs and technical solutions. In this role, you will lead the analysis of complex business processes, identify improvement opportunities, and drive the delivery of solutions that align with our clients strategic goals.

As a Senior Business Analyst, you will collaborate closely with stakeholders, development teams, and project managers to ensure successful project execution and optimal business outcomes.

Responsibilities

Requirements Gathering: Work closely with stakeholders to elicit, analyze, and document business requirements, translating them into functional specifications.

Process Analysis: Evaluate current business processes, identify areas for improvement, and propose effective solutions to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.

Stakeholder Collaboration: Build strong relationships with business units, IT teams, and external vendors to ensure alignment and clarity on objectives.

Solution Design: Partner with technical teams to define and validate solutions that meet business needs, ensuring feasibility and scalability.

Project Support: Act as a subject matter expert during project lifecycles, assisting with testing, troubleshooting, and issue resolution.

Documentation: Prepare clear and concise documentation, including business requirements documents (BRD), use cases, process flows, and user stories.

Data Analysis: Perform data analysis to support decision-making and provide insights that guide project direction.

Change Management: Contribute to change management initiatives by supporting user training and adoption of new processes or systems.

Compliance and Standards: Ensure all deliverables meet quality standards, regulatory requirements, and best practices.

Skills

Must have

Education: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Information Systems, or a related field. Advanced degrees are a plus.

Experience:

5+ years of experience as a Business Analyst, with a focus on financial services or technology projects. Domain expertise in: Payments, Card Services, Direct Debits and Swift messaging.

Proven track record in delivering complex projects in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

Skills:

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret and synthesize complex information.

Exceptional communication and stakeholder management abilities.

Proficiency in business analysis tools and methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall, BPMN).

Experience with data analysis and reporting tools (e.g., SQL, Tableau).

Familiarity with financial systems, products, and regulatory environments.

Certifications:

Business analysis certifications such as CBAP, CCBA, or PMI-PBA are highly desirable.

Agile certifications (e.g., CSPO, SAFe Agilist) are a plus.

Nice to have

Experience in Avaloq Core Banking Platform would be preferred but not essential.
