MIDDLE PROJECT MANAGER (#2697)

N-iX is looking for a passionate, skilled, and motivated Middle Project Manager to join the team;

Our customer is the leading school transportation provider in North America, being the owner of more than a half of all yellow school buses in the United States; Every day, the company completes 5 million student journeys, moving more passengers than all US airlines combined and delivers reliable, quality services for 1,100 school districts;

N-iX has built a successful cooperation with the client delivering a range of complex initiatives; As a result, N-iX has been selected as a strategic long-term partner to drive the digital transformation on an enterprise level, fully remodeling the technology landscape for 55,000 employees and millions of people across North America;

Responsibilities:

• Taking full responsibility for project execution, including estimating and planning, budgeting, and customer communications;
• Managing several sub-teams of a big and long-term project;
• Establish communication channels with the Client's representatives and provide regular progress reporting;
• Managing overall communication during Project Phases;
• Working closely with the entire Team on project phases goals;
• Execute the changes and perform risk management;
• Manage team’s performance appraisals, provide feedback on performance and work on goals;
• Work with Team Leads and other team members on project delivery analysis;
• Resource planning and staffing. Motivating and developing a project team;
• Establishing smooth processes and executing process improvements;
• The assistance of the Program Manager in project management and program delivery;

Requirements:

• Upper-intermediate English written and verbal communication skills
• 3+ years of proven experience in IT project management (during the last 5 years)
• 2+ years of experience with Fixed Price projects
• Successful driving at least two projects hands-on from initiation to final delivery without supervision
• Proven experience in managing projects with predictive (waterfall ) and adaptive (agile) software development life cycle
• Excellent knowledge of Agile methodologies, Scrum & Kanban frameworks is a must;
• Proven experience in project start and establishing all necessary processes on the project from scratch
• Proven experience in management of solution-based/fixed-scope/fixed-price projects
• Excellent knowledge of managing cross-cultural/cross-functional/distributed teams
• Experience in managing at least 10  subordinates on multiple projects
• Proven experience in project cost management, Atlassian Suit (Jira, Confluence)
