Join Google Public Sector for a 12-14 week paid internship that offers personal and professional development, an executive speaker series, and community-building. Google is developing groundbreaking cloud solutions for the public sector, leveraging years of experience in building secure, reliable, and scalable cloud technology. Public Sector organizations are transforming their work with the help of Google Cloud. The Google Public Sector Marketing team is responsible for raising awareness and accelerating outcomes for public sector organizations, and leading these individuals through a seamless journey, from interest to discovery, trial, commitment and advocacy, fueling mission outcomes and market growth. Responsibilities: * Create and support a productive and innovative team including working with peers, managers, and teams. * Be hands-on in the full communication cycle including positioning, messaging, strategic planning, and storytelling aligned to key moments, events, and industry trends. * Contribute to internal communications channels including blogs, newsletters, and town halls. * Develop relationships with key stakeholders within customer accounts, including business decision-makers, and cross functional teams such as marketing and public policy.
Must have:
  • Pursuing a Bachelor's degree or post secondary or training experience with a focus on subjects in Business, Marketing, Communications, PR or other related fields.
  • Experience with writing, editing, and publishing content for social media, websites, newsletters, or press releases.
Good to have:
  • Currently attending a degree program in the US and available to work full time for 12-14 weeks outside of university term time.
  • Penultimate academic year or returning to a degree program after completion of the internship.
  • Prior experience in a customer-facing role, (e.g., retail, customer service, sales) or extracurricular activities demonstrating leadership skills.
  • Previous internships in a related field such as Communications, PR, Marketing, or Public Affairs.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $41,000-$54,500. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target salaries for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
