Job Description

This entry-level position involves developing advanced manufacturing processes, optimizing factory layouts, and customizing machinery for Intel's cutting-edge production. The role requires applying expertise to improve production performance and evolve Intel's manufacturing capabilities. Responsibilities include ensuring manufacturing facilities operate to high standards, contributing to the creation of new technologies, and impacting the technology landscape. The ideal candidate will have skills in semiconductor equipment, fabrication processes, data analytics, failure analysis, and manufacturing process control. This is a 2025 start date position located at one of Intel's US manufacturing or technology development sites.

Must have:

PhD in STEM field
6+ months experience
Semiconductor knowledge
Data analytics skills
Process improvement expertise

Qualifications

This is an entry-level position and will be compensated accordingly. You must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Experience would be obtained through a combination of prior education level classes, and current level school classes, projects, research, and relevant previous job and/or internship experience.

Education:Candidate must possess a PhD degree in Chemical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Material Science, Microelectronics Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Chemistry, Physics, or related STEM field with 6+ months of educational or industry experience.

Additional Information:

This application is for a 2025 start date.  You must be available to start work during this time frame.
