  • 5 years of experience in a leadership role with direct reports.
  • Active US Government Top Secret Security Clearance with Sensitive Compartmentalized Information (TS/SCI).

Preferred qualifications:

  • MBA or Master's degree in a technical (e.g., Engineering) or a business (e.g., MBA) field.
  • Certification in PMP.
  • Experience with cloud solutions, including networking, infrastructure, and security.
  • Ability to be proactive and willing to drive technical discussions or resolve technical issues with Engineering leads.
  • Ability to work across teams, build relationships, influence senior managers and successfully manage multiple complex priorities.

As a Technical Program Manager at Google, you’ll use your technical expertise to lead complex, multi-disciplinary projects from start to finish. You’ll work with stakeholders to plan requirements, identify risks, manage project schedules, and communicate clearly with cross-functional partners across the company. You're equally comfortable explaining your team's analyses and recommendations to executives as you are discussing the technical tradeoffs in product development with engineers.

As a part of Google Public Sector's Program Management Office, you will be part of the team delivering Google Cloud innovation to the United States Government. In this role, you will lead large cross-functional projects, define strategy, and drive strategic and executive alignment for product roadmaps for Google Global Networking. You will work on sales enablement on generating network infrastructure products, supporting Request for Proposal (RFPs) and driving customer design wins.

This Google Global Networking (GGN) Program Manager will bring customer and product-centric focus to GGN teams by collaborating with various teams involved in planning, building, delivering, operating and supporting GGN products to our customers and partners.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $168,000-$252,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target salaries for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Responsibilities

  • Partner with Engineering teams to drive the highest level of product execution that delivers end user needs.
  • Work closely with Google Global Networking customers and partners to define and refine product specific requirements.
  • Increase awareness, training, education, of Google Global Networking products to enable Google Product areas to offer differentiated services using the infrastructure.
  • Cultivate trusted technical and business partnerships across Cloud product teams and stakeholders to identify, assess, and resolve recurring challenges.
  • Manage risks, issues, and actions for customers, and track them regularly to meet the expected outcomes and timelines.
