We are looking for a Legal Counsel who, together with a Legal Assistant, will focus on all legal matters relating to our company and operations. You will work closely with senior management and cross-functional teams to provide legal advice on a variety of matters, primarily commercial agreements and NDAs. Other areas include data privacy, intellectual property, employment law, and corporate governance. 

The successful candidate for this position will thrive in a dynamic, international environment and embrace the challenges posed by a position with broad and continuously evolving responsibilities. You are a self-starter with strong business acumen and the ability to manage multiple legal matters in a rapidly changing environment.  

Your Profile 

• Law degree (MSc) from a leading university. 

• Minimum of three years relevant work experience, preferably from a leading Dutch or international law firm or a high-growth or scale-up company. Experience in games, data, tech, or SaaS is a plus.  

• Proven experience with contract law and corporate law. Experience with IP law and GDPR is a significant advantage. 

• In-depth knowledge of legal practices in the Netherlands and the U.S. 

• Creative thinker who is service-minded and a problem solver. 

• Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects and stakeholders simultaneously.  

• Proactive and action-orientated with a strong sense of responsibility. 

• Strong negotiation skills and attention to detail. 

• Flexibility regarding working hours to accommodate different time zones. 

• Excellent communication skills, both written and oral, with a professional mastery of English (Dutch is a plus).
