Play a crucial role on your team and set the tone for the ultimate sports trading experience as a Lead Sports Trader. You’ll utilize your deep understanding of the mechanics of odds and data to provide a viable vision. Bring your analytical skills to implement new strategies and build cutting-edge tools to continuously deliver the best-in-class sportsbook product experience to our customers.

What you’ll do as a Lead Sports Trader

• Work closely with the senior team and other vertical teams to establish, deliver and assess an industry-leading betting product.

• Understand and implement required operations processes for odds compilation, full lifecycle event trading, risk management, bet acceptance, client profiling, and reporting.

• Train new employees and support frequent performance management, reviews, and guidance.

• Analyze trading performance and build strong KPI’s to develop a culture of accountability, quality, integrity, efficiency, and effective due diligence.

• Foster a collaborative way of working where knowledge, skills, and standards are shared.

• Work with various internal teams to Identify opportunities and optimization to develop Trading efficiency.

• Support competitor benchmarking, season reviews, planning, and forecasting ahead.

 

What you’ll bring

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field or equivalent work experience with at least 5 years of trading experience.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, preferably with a background in math and statistics.

• Knowledge of sports in at least one of the major US leagues.

• Strong communication and collaboration skills as well as the ability to prioritize and make quick decisions.

• Proficiency in statistical analysis tools (e.g., Excel, R, Python) is a plus.

• Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is 72,000.00 USD - 90,000.00 USD, plus bonus, equity, and benefits as applicable. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location.
