Lead Product Manager - Tech

At Growfin we’re seeking a seasoned Lead Technical Product Manager to join our team and lead the development of cutting-edge products that empower our users and drive business growth. In this role, you will be at the intersection of technology and business, working closely with engineering, design, and other cross-functional teams to drive the product from conception to launch. You’ll be responsible for setting the roadmap, managing the development process, and ensuring that our product continues to exceed market expectations.

Job Location - Chennai (Work from Office)

Key Responsibilities -

• Define Product Vision and Strategy: Establish and drive a strong product vision, strategy, and roadmap aligned with business goals and market needs.
• Technical Leadership: Partner with engineering teams to ensure a deep understanding of technical architecture and scalable solutions; provide input on technology decisions impacting product direction.
• Product Lifecycle Management: Own the end-to-end product lifecycle, from concept through launch and ongoing iterations, focusing on delivering high-quality features and improvements.
• Stakeholder Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including sales, marketing, customer success, and operations, to ensure cohesive product positioning and delivery.
• Data-Driven Decision Making: Utilize data analytics, user feedback, and A/B testing to inform product decisions, improve user experience, and enhance product performance.
• Prioritize and Plan: Define clear goals and success metrics, prioritize features, and manage the product backlog to ensure timely and efficient product delivery.
• Mentorship and Team Leadership: Mentor and guide a team of junior product managers or associates, fostering growth and development within the product team.

Key Requirements -

• Educational Background: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field; MBA or similar advanced degree is a plus.
• Experience: 7+ years of product management experience in a technical product role, with a strong track record of launching and scaling successful products.
• Technical Skills: Proficient in understanding software development processes, technical architecture, and APIs; experience in a SaaS or technology-driven environment is a plus.
• Analytical and Problem-Solving Skills: Excellent analytical skills with the ability to translate complex data into actionable insights.
• Communication and Interpersonal Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills; ability to present complex information clearly and persuasively to senior leadership and stakeholders.
• Leadership Skills: Proven ability to influence and drive results in a cross-functional team environment, with experience in mentoring junior product managers.
• User-Centric: A deep understanding of user-centered design and a passion for creating exceptional user experiences.
• Agile Methodology: Experience working in an Agile or Scrum environment is highly desirable.

Good-to-Haves -

Industry Experience: Background in SAAS

Technical Certifications: Certifications in Product Management, Agile, or related fields.

Familiarity with Product Tools: Proficiency in tools such as JIRA, Aha!, or similar product management and data analytics tools.
