G5 Games is a game developer and publisher headquartered in Stockholm, Sweden. Since 2006 our company has become public and is listed on .

We create games in popular genres such as match-3, hidden object games, and mahjong solitaire. Our portfolio includes over 20 world-class projects, including Sherlock, Hidden City®, Mahjong Journey®, Homicide Squad®, Jewels series, and others.

We are currently looking for a talented Lead Game Writer to join our team.

What you will work on:

  • Write texts, scripts, and dialogues with impeccable grammar, captivating style, and concise expression.
  • Conceptualize and describe the game world, locations, and characters.
  • Oversee the quality of the team's texts, proofreading and enhancing them.
  • Lead the team, delegate tasks, and monitor their completion.
  • Maintain healthy communication within the project team.

It’s important to us:

  • Experience in writing game texts and scripts.
  • Experience in team management.
  • Passion for games and extensive gaming experience.
  • Understanding of the game development process and the specifics of game scenarios.
  • Ability to clearly and accurately express thoughts in Russian.
  • Creativity.
  • Logical thinking.
  • Ability to assess risks effectively, think several steps ahead, and prioritize tasks.
  • Knowledge of English (B2). 

Would be a great bonus:

  • Experience in journalism/copywriting/game design.
  • Higher education in linguistics, philology, journalism.
