  • understanding of the process of baking textures from high poly models
  • competency in working with UV maps
  • understanding of the PBR pipeline
  • relevant portfolio with examples of successful released projects

Some points on tasks:

  • close cooperation with the art director, concept artists, 3D animators, and technical artists to create high-quality 3D models of characters, weapons, environment objects, and tech
  • forming a pipeline for producing 3D graphics and monitoring the team at every stage
  • creating Hi/Lo models of characters and objects based on concepts
  • forming a pool of tasks for the 3D department, estimating time frames, and providing feedback
  • developing, maintaining, and keeping check of the visual style of produced 3D models
  • solving technical and artistic tasks in the 3D department
  • creating the department's art documentation and keeping it up to date
