The IPCS (Industrial Print Customer Success) WW Current Business Management team is a team of young and talented professionals that are responsible for planning, forecasting, and analyzing business plans (long and short term) and provide guidance, based on analysed business trends and directions, for decision making within the above-mentioned business.
We are now looking for a Junior WW Business and Data Analyst to support this team.
Job Role and Responsibilities
- In accordance with plan and team guidance, performs/executes data collection and analysis procedures and data insight visualizations for assigned projects.
- Collects, records, and analyses data using established protocols and processes; communicates findings to other team members for review and feedback.
- Utilize historical data to perform requirements analysis and identify trend lines across several data sources within the organization to support decisions
- Apply predictive analysis and tools to forecast and employ business analytics (including an enhanced ability to quantify and qualify data)
- Utilize the Business Intelligence analytics database to carry out statistical analysis and ad hoc reporting as required
- Assures accuracy, integrity, and compliance of cleansed data.
- Evaluating business processes, anticipating requirements, uncovering areas for improvement, and developing and implementing solutions.
- Assists in preparation of literature and presentations for peer review, publication, and delivery at industry and scientific events and conferences; creates patent applications and supporting documentation.
- Conducting meetings and presentations to share ideas and findings.
Education and Experience Required
- Bachelor's degree in a technical or business discipline or equivalent experience with interest on data management
- Work experience is not required, but appropriate internships related to the job content would be a plus.
- Excellent English skills, written and spoken
Knowledge and Skills Required
- Demonstrated analytical thinking, technical analysis, and data manipulation skills
- Ability to learn and draw on new analytical techniques
- Basic knowledge of research methodology
- Demonstrated knowledge of Excel, Access, statistical analysis, and financial modeling
- Developing business acumen and technical knowledge within area of responsibility
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Basic understanding of project management methodology
- Knowledge on Power BI, or additional databases such as SQL Server and MySQL is preferred. It is also preferable to be familiar with data warehousing, data mining, and data mapping.
