Team Introduction
Performance & Incentives (P&I) are powerful tools for furthering the company's strategic goals. A robust Performance & Incentives (P&I) strategy influences the organization's ability to attract and retain the best talent, while creating a strong alignment of individuals' interests with the organization's strategic goals. The Performance & Incentives team at ByteDance, therefore, are constantly benchmarking and striving for the best practice & return on investment in developing competitive C&B policies. The Performance & Incentives team works on a lot of interesting problems. Whether it is developing new world-class compensation policies, diving deep into market research, analyzing big data and benchmarking. The Performance & Incentives team work on a lot of cool and exciting projects to come up with the best ways to serve our organization. Given the nature of our work, it also creates huge opportunities for collaboration with departments in and outside of the HR organization.
Responsibilities
1. Deeply understand the company's internationalization business strategy and develop the company's overall individual income tax management system;
2. Develop and improve regional individual income tax related strategies, operation processes and system construction in accordance with legal compliance requirements;
3. Responsible for following up on individual income tax policies in different countries and regions, and proposing professional judgments and suggestions in the field based on policy changes and updates;
4. Build and optimize tax and payroll policy for cross-border employment and international assignment, and support the improvement of the individual income tax system for Internationalization assignment;
5. Other individual income tax and compensation & incentives related work.
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications
1. Ability to make sound judgments and support proposals with data for presentation to the management team;
2. Fluency in English;
3. Excellent project management skills, strong project driving and execution ability, good logical thinking, and strong research and data analysis capabilities.
Preferred Qualifications
1. Tax-related work experience;
2. Experience in technology industry or human resources/management consulting is an advantage;
3. Good business acumen, strong business understanding and insights, self-driven, good learning capability, good resilience, adaptability to change, maturity to deal with uncertainties, good teamwork awareness and collaboration skills.
