About the role

We are looking for a Head of Procurement to take the lead of our indirect procurement and be responsible for the full spectrum of purchasing process including supplier selection and management, price negotiation, purchase order execution, implementation of a new ERP system, etc.

The global scope of this role requires someone that is a self-starter and a confident communicator that operates effectively in a global matrix organisation with the ability to identify and advise relevant stakeholders.

As our new Head of Procurement, you will be responsible for:

• Develop the procurement strategy and implement plans to reduce total cost and improve quality of buying
• Setting up the procurement processes and systems to improve efficiency
• Improve our RFX processes, contract templates and compliance performance
• Develop and implement the ESG screening of suppliers
• Negotiate critical supplier contracts and lead on other key negotiations
• Deliver results on agreed KPIs for Purchasing e.g. Cost Development, #suppliers, DPO etc.
• Draft and finalize agreements, that lead to better terms and conditions for Sinch
• Leadership, lead the procurement team by providing opportunities for professional growth while maintaining a sustainable work environment

This role will be based at the HQ in Stockholm and report into the SVP Finance Operations. Travel to our different offices across the globe will be required.

About you

To be successful in this role you are a seasoned procurement professional working in an international company, who has a passion for improving processes and ways of working. You enjoy and are skilled in negotiation. You love working with people and are a true collaborator who has the ability to communicate and work with individuals from different cultures.

• Proven experience from working in Procurement, ideally from a similar size company and industry, delivering successful procurement outcomes
• Experience of working internationally with suppliers, with a good network and knowledge of running procurements across functions
• Experience of successful leadership and has the ability of inspiring and motivating teams
• A University degree, preferably within Law, Operations, Finance or related field
• Good skills in English both verbally and in writing
