Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Physics, a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • 5 years of experience with system development in consumer electronics/embedded design.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Physics, or a related field.
  • Experience in one or more of the following areas: SOC/MCU, power (DC-DC converters, battery and power management), charging systems, mixed circuits, sensor integration.
  • Experience with various communication protocols (e.g., SPI, I2C, UART, USB, MIPI-DSI), standard Radio Frequency (RF)/Wi-Fi interfaces at chipset, baseband, and antenna integration levels.
  • Experience with system integration between hardware and software domains
  • Experience working with OEM/ODM/JDM/CM partners, understanding of product development process for mass-volume production design, with focus on design for manufacturing and design for test.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $102,000-$150,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to evaluate and select components and new technologies for next generation products based on product outlook and end-user experiences.
  • Lead new design concepts and features through exploration, prototyping, and implementation to mass production.
  • Create system specifications and plan/lead validation of your designs. Lead complete functional verification, signal characterization, power modeling/test, and system coexistence testing.
  • Drive resolution of cross-functional issues including those related to architecture (e.g., performance, power consumption), production (e.g., quality, failure analysis, manufacturing), and development (e.g., schematic design and review, PCB layout, and overall system integration).
  • Work with and manage suppliers/manufacturing partners to establish mutually beneficial relationships for future product designs.
