ABOUT US:

Saltwater Games is a creative alliance of studios dedicated to delivering unparalleled entertainment experiences that ignite the imagination of our audiences. Our passionate teams of creative professionals consist of industry veterans from renowned studios such as PlayStation, Codemasters, Sumo Digital, Interior Night and Mediatonic who are working on some exciting VR, multiplayer and mobile titles. ABOUT YOU:

We are looking for a freelancer for a period of 3 months on future content for our recently released game Infinite Inside. As a Experienced VR Designer, you will own design for the project and will be responsible for scoping out/implementing gameplay features. The Project is being made in Unity so experience working in Unity is a must. Ensuring the future content matches that of previously released titles and what is expected of our studio, meeting project deadlines, and collaborating closely with a small team consisting of Creative director/ Art Lead, Lead Engineer, Audio and QA.

Responsibilities:

  • Drive the design development and Implementation of features
  • Own creation of puzzles and new gameplay elements
  • Integration of node based navigation system within the level
  • Collaborate with Art lead to scope out user interactions
  • Bring design solutions to life with dynamic interactive prototypes and support their final delivery in-product.
  • Bug fixing and polish 
  • Build strong collaborative working relationships across the team and studio to ensure consistent high quality user experiences.

Requirements

  • Three years or more industry experience and at least one shipped title.
  • Experience being sole/principal designer for a project
  • Understanding of puzzles and challenge mechanics
  • Gameplay Design experience
  • Excellent working knowledge of Unity 3D.
  • Experience of working with multiple VR platforms.
