Candidate will be responsible for writing software at Bare Metal level for latest DPU chipsets produced by Custom Compute and Storage Business Unit at Marvell, which then sit as a co-processors on Data center Server’s along with Main Processor Chips .
Candidate should be a proficient Embedded C C++ coder at different software stacks levels such as Bare Metal, Register level, Firmware Level and Application OS level , for new chipsets peripheral and subsystem , and understanding validation on pre and post silicon platforms.
Candidate will write C , C++ code that shall run cross-compile and run on ARM processor and will program, access and exploit communication peripherals like UART, USB, PCIE, Ethernet which are sitting on the Chip to its maximum.
This requires candidate to have clear understanding of Embedded C programing and Chip validation using Bare Metal and Firmware api codes.
Candidate will be responsible to write embedded software to make a Peripherals in an high performance SoC work, such that its working gets proven .
Candidate will be involved in understanding DPU chip architecture and writing code ranging from Bare metal to Over Firmware Programs
Candidate should have worked on ARM or x86 based processors and Interfaces like DDR , PCIe, Ethernet, UBS, DMA etc.
What We're Looking For
Must have clear S/W development experience on Post Silicon or Pre-Silicon as a C C++ Coder on Arm Processors or RISC V for at least 3 to 10 years .
Should have worked on Register Programming, OS API’s , DMA access, PCI and Virtual Resources concept, firmware, bare metal code for chips, developing boot code , compiling the same and loading it on flash.
Must know how to write application code in C and C++ over F/W and Linux , so that an application can run on top of ARM/Linux setup.
Proficient in Writing Boot code / Bare metal code on ARM Processers , single and multi-core.
Should understanding practical aspects of CPU addressing such as Virtual addressing , Memory Management Unit , Resource Virtualization, system level operations.
