Job Description

E-commerce Executive ensures that campaigns on online stores are set-up correctly, furnish with accurate data points for reports and stay up to date with all process and industry trends.

The E-Commerce Executive should remain abreast of and contribute to knowledge about products, promotions, and consumers’ preferences.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for day-to-day execution and implement of the e-commerce trading activities across online marketplaces (product listing, promotion, price change, campaign banner management);
  • Planning on new and existing products upload. Ensure all product uploads are complete with full description. Track inventory levels and products removal (if necessary). 
  • Work closely with related stakeholders to deliver effective content and promotions.
  • Liaises with marketplace’s representative on all promotion and campaign activities.
  • Monitor the ongoing performance of online promotions, making recommendations for change and improvement.
  • Implement & execute the promotional plan across the websites, ensuring all promotional activity goes live correctly and according to plan.
  • Ensure the stock fulfilment to meet customer’s expectation.
  • Use web analytics to monitor performance of all the key elements of campaigns.
  • Conduct regular research on competitors and their trading conditions.   
  • Analyzing sales-related data to predict future sales and stock requirements.
  • Planning for key events like double day, mid-month madness and pay days, allocating budgets and shifting them as per sales trends.
  • Build relationship with retail store key account management teams and initiate top ups every month.

Qualifications

Requirements

  • Degree in marketing management, business, IT or equivalent.
  • 1-2 years of proven experience working in an eCommerce role
  • Knowledgeable about consumer preference (related to e-Commerce), procedures & techniques in e-commerce.
  • Solid configuring, problem solving, market research, data analytical, consulting, and organizational skills.
  • Attention to detail and strong desire to succeed.
  • Good English verbal and written communication skills.
