Job Description

As a Dyno Test Technician at Tesla's Reliability Team in Tilburg, Netherlands, you will set up and maintain component-level tests according to Tesla procedures. Responsibilities include conducting test fixtures for various projects, executing comprehensive tests (setup, inspections, maintenance, retrofits), collaborating with engineering teams to resolve mechanical and electrical issues, providing detailed test status updates, supporting instrumentation and data acquisition, maintaining test equipment, and mentoring other technicians. The role requires experience as an engineering, service, or manufacturing technician, along with fabrication and/or electrical equipment experience. Strong problem-solving, communication, and attention to detail are essential. Experience with Linux-based scripting or Python is highly preferred.

Must have:

Engineering/service/manufacturing technician experience
Fabrication & electrical equipment experience
Problem-solving & root cause analysis skills
Excellent written & verbal communication (English)
Conduct tests, maintain equipment, and provide updates

The role is based in Tesla Test Laboratory in Tilburg (Netherlands).

What You’ll Do

Conduct test fixtures for various projects.
Execute comprehensive tests, including setup, detailed inspections, maintenance, and retrofits.
Collaborate with engineering teams to address mechanical and electrical issues.
⁠Deliver detailed written and verbal updates on test status to key stakeholders.
Support engineering teams in instrumentation and data acquisition setup and logging.
Maintain general test equipment actively to ensure optimal functionality.
Support and mentor other technicians to help develop the team.

What You’ll Bring

Experience as an engineering, service or manufacturing technician.
Willingness to learn a dynamic automotive environment.
Experience with fabrication equipment (e.g. Band Saw, Drill Press) or electrical equipment (harnesses, power supplies etc.).
Analytical problem-solving skills & root cause analysis.
Adept at managing competing demands, and meeting tight deadlines effectively with attention to detail.
Excellent written & verbal communication skills in English.
Compute knowledge is a plus: Linux based script writing or some Python experience highly preferred.
